How to Play
In Puppy Power, your task is to collect all of the alien sheep and eliminate them. Of course this is no easy task, so you have to engage the power of the Puppies who, as story has it, were taught by the last dragon to kill this alien scum.
Each player is given 2 sheep, a puppy (with a unique special power), and the rest of the cards are shuffled. On a player’s turn they place a sheep next to the card(s) that are already about on the tableau, and then draw a card. The cards played are most often alien sheep. You are attempting to place them next to eachother such that 3 of the alien sheep of the same color touch. When they do, you score a point. It’s also important to note that the sheep much be placed such that the arrow on the sheep is how they attach to the other sheep. However, you could also play a puppy that has a special power thus changing the game on your turn.
Effectively, you play sheep to score points, and play puppies to block your opponents from scoring.
Conclusion
In the end we had fun. It was a simple and light game and recommended for the kiddies. However, adults and those looking for a little more meat in their games will quickly grow weary of this game, looking for something with a bit less randomness.
