Highlights:
  • Abstract card game with some set collection
  • Interesting primal artwork
  • A bit more strategy than I expected
  • A bit of luck to drawing the right cards, but a bit of strategy to know when to play them. Do I hear some Kenny Rogers?

generations-logo Generations is a 4x game(ish) that has broken up the 4x into phases. This game was sent to us by Adam Browne. Although the game is effectively 3 games, it uses the same components throughout. As such, I have decided to do a single review rather than three separate reviews. Survivalistic – A Post Apocolyptic Survival Game… a dang good one (7.5/10)

game title Survivalistic is a game that came out several years ago from the good people over at Mandry's Gaming Co. We managed to meet up with him at Geekway to the West last year and shot a 'how to play' along with some gameplay action shots. Unfortunately, the vast majority of it suffered from bad audio. But rest assured, I believe Eric said something to the effect of, "Wow! That's the best game I played all con!" and you know what? That's saying something. Dem Gems (indie) – Old Coote Games

Note the game Sean and I received and reviewed is slightly different from the one now listed on The Game Crafter; for the sake of highlighting the updates I will reference the differences as I go about explaining the rules; I will also use images from their pages illustrating the new updated art and game assets.
